Hello!
My name is Izzy, and I am a 21-year-old concert photographer based in Charleston, South Carolina.
I started doing photography for fun when I was 15, using just a phone and some crazy editing techniques. I was then generously given my first camera, which was a huge learning curve! I learned to love photography, and focused on creatives, engagements, and senior photos. Eventually, I felt like I lost my creativity in photography, and put my camera down. I moved all the way to Charleston from Oregon, and got heavily involved in the indie music scene. At one concert, I snapped some photos on my phone, and the band ended up using the pictures on their socials. I decided not to ignore what could potentially be, and some awesome bands ended up letting me come and shoot their shows! My portfolio and passion for concert photography grew, I loved the rawness and authenticity of the photos I was capturing. I was able to showcase the artist's passion for their music through my lens, and that was so incredible to me.
Now, here I am! I am studying to be a graphic designer, shooting shows nearly every weekend, and have found my creativity again.
